As part of world mental health day, the children came off timetable to focus on their mental wellbeing and understand the need for looking after themselves.
We took part in mindfulness and yoga to find our centre and understand why it is important to look after our bodies and how exercise can have a positive impact on our wellbeing.
We then explored the wonderful world of the colour monster and how understanding our emotions can help us to regulate how we are feeling, before decorating large scale emotion jars using different materials.
We all got to wear what makes us happy and had a fantastic day full of lots of amazing activities.
